Regularly Scheduled Maintenance

Having your heating and air-conditioning equipment maintained on a twice-a-year basis is one of the best ways to ensure efficient, reliable operation. Air-conditioning/furnace combinations should also be checked twice a year for safety and reliability.

Consider a programmable thermostat if you are on a routine schedule.

Change filters monthly or in the case of an electronic air cleaner, clean them monthly. This will help your system operate more efficiently and have less wear and tear on your equipment.

Arrange in the off season to have your furnace, boiler or heat pump serviced.

Take advantage of maintenance agreements. Those that take advantage of routine maintenance agreements also get priority service if they have equipment failure or other problems later on. Maintenance agreement customers usually receive a reduced rate for services and same day service in most instances.
